Is there such thing as a 'binding cutter? a Machine or gadget that will cut fabric into 2 1/2 " strips? I think I remember seeing one a long time ago but not lately.

I would say it is like "oven versus microwave" A microwave does things quicker, but you still use the oven for baking or roasting larger things, same for a serger, makes seams quicker and finishes...

No but you can get books cheaper and even free on Kindle Nation.com and pixelofink.com Nook can only download from BN. Kindle from amazon. I Have both and like the kindle best.

I have the Nook Color and the Kindle, Amazon downloads in a few seconds but BN takes almost a 30 minutes to download some. Try Kindle Nations for free also.

I use them and really like them and have given them as gifts and everybody seems to like them especially long arm quilters. I also use them for mark hems of clothing. Smart buy and I will buy more.

Our guild make and donates about 25-30 quilts per month to the NICU (neonatal) at local hospital.
Also to the Veterans at Christmas about 250 -to 300 per year. Very rewarding for all of us.
