as for the placement, if you start with 4, 2 of the opposite corners the points go toward each other, the other 2 squares the corners point away...

the cutting table is normal height. As for the ironing board that is temporary until i get my fish tank on its permanent cabinets. The fishtank stand is the exact size of the ironing board 2 x 6 ft
