    My golden years were when my children were little and before my husband/their father deserted us. My parents were alive and there was so much love. I wish I could go back to that time.

    We keep our landline for emergency purposes. My husband uses a basic cell phone but it's difficult for him - we are old.
    We also use the landline for junk calls so our cellphone numbers aren't given...

    But if you sent a personal check and it wasn't cashed I would send another check or return...

    I really like your quilt. I always thought that the strips had to be the same width. Don't know why I thought that but I see now it is better with differents widths and not so much matching of seams....
