    Thanks for your thoughts. Think I will try maybe putting a layer of thin batting to keep from looking flat. The lady who demonstrated this said the small wallhangers hung much nicer.

    I saw an article on someone who said she uses felt rather than batting for small wallhangings. Was going to try it on a kit I purchased which had all appliqué pieces die cut. It was a little pricey...
