How do I oil my singer 15-91?

I have a singer 15-91 and I've never oiled it before.
What oil do I need to oil it and lubricate the motor?

Talking Which way should I press my seams?

I was wondering how I should press my seams. Should I press them open or to the side?
I'm planning on stitching in the ditch around all of my blocks.

It wasn't fat quarters in was just fabric off the bolt.
I can wash the fabric there's nothing on it right now.
I'll have to try the shampoo and I'll try the dish soap and see how it works.
