    Thank you, it was fun to do and now I am excited about trying all sorts of (soft) backing fabrics. The stretchy ones are trickier but I like the variety.

    Using Minkee for baby quilt backing

    A while back I received advice/help to do this. I jsut wanted to share the adorable quilt I finished for my brand new granddaughter. Hopefully my upload works!

    Thank you! This is very helpful. I have my eye on a limegreen for the back of a "Very Hungry Caterpillar" quilt. I'll let you know how it goes.

    Has anyone used Cudle fabric for a backing to a cotton quilt?

    Hi - I have just about finished a baby quilt (I did not prewash the fabric) and I found this wonderfully soft double thick cudle fabric that would be a nice backing... I am nervous as it is polyester...
