What machine would you suggest to buy for a Grace frame specifically made for this type of mid arm setup? I was given the frame and Sure Stitch Regulator and now need a machine to use.

That means I will have approximately 24" left over from my original piece?? Also, my backing will have a diagonal seam? Correct? I have never seen one done this way but it sounds logical.

Help! I have a mental block when trying to figure out how to cut my fabric for piecing a back. Quilt measures 45 x 60 inches and my fabric is 120 x 42 wide. Any suggestions?

Fusible Batting vs spray adhesive

Since I don't have a longarm and truly hate to pin, I have been using fusible batting but it leaves a residue on my needle. Would the spray adhesive be a viable alternative?

I love quilting - so what can I say. I have 3 machines (janome 6600, janome gem, and brother 450LX and trying to figure out what to keep and what to sell as I would LOVE to own a Bernina.
