#2 and #3 are done Learned a lot, LOL.

Biggest mistake? Thinking, to do a flag quilt without a pattern would be a breeze. NOT! Curves are a "sock-sniffer". But it's a gift and its red white and blue. Also, metallic thread is fussy....

That is a "sampler" on steroids. You had a great opportunity to show your skill and wow, you did. I can only imagine the nerves it takes to takeoff on a beautiful quilt as that.
