I give and sell a lot of my quilts, but the ones I keep for future generations I have in a cedar chest. I have my own that are on the beds, walls and all over the house, even the kitchen.

You could do one big log cabin Block, set it on point and then instead of add triangles to fill out the corners, use solid logs to extend to the length you need. Or if that doesn't work on the top...
