make sure the thread is seated in the tension, you have to put the thread in like you are flossing, you can tell when the thread is seated. I missed mine once and had the same problem.

I have purchased 108" backing for 5.99 per yard and found the very identical backing at quilt shops charging 14.99 per yard. Even with shipping I got a better price. Shop around.

I was also told not to use compressed air,it will blow lint and small thread into the works of the machine and cause damage. I use a q-tip to remove a lot of lint from the bobbin area.

I received the latest and am continually disappionted. Havent seen any patterns or pretty quilts for a while. It seems they all have to busy a fabric combo to be pretty.
