I used to have a treadle cabinet just like that...
I used to have a treadle cabinet just like that with a 15-88 in it.
Mine also had a motor attached, but I took it off and reverted back the the treadle belt with no issues.

As long as the buttonhole attachment is for the correct presser bar setup, slant or regular, it should work whether the machine is straight stitch or zig zag. They all pretty much have the same...
