I'm just learning the "quilting" part of quilting so I'm NOT an expert but I will tell you, if you don't have a "walking foot" for your machine, bite the bullet and spend the $20 or so to buy...

Here is the back of the Quick & Easy Charity Quilt. I stitched the ditch. The front of the quilt is all flannel, the back is heavy cotton muslin. I used medium weight batting in the sandwich.
