    I agree. And I am having fun with this fabric, even knowing that I don't really have an "eye" for fabric combining. It ends up pretty, and I'm happy. All is good!

    Now that I look at it, here, enlarged, I could have alternated the fussy cut squares. There's one motif in 2 and another motif in the other 2. I could have set the 2 that match opposite each other....

    Here's mine. The gel glue stick worked! I messed up the center 9-patch, but I think it's OK. I am happy with fussy cutting the larger 9-patch pieces.

    Lara, your block is very pretty! I agree that fine thread and needles help. I'm using YLI Silk thread, too. And I got some short needles for applique that are working well.
