Isn't it nice to have an older machine that has an interesting story with it. Bet she can tell you some stories about the uniforms she what worked on and for who. Enjoy your machine she is a beauty.

I have a Morse 6500 machine. I don't know what it's worth but it sews great. I think it will sew through anything. I too found out it was made by Toyota.

Grant, Glenn, Thayrags. You guys are the greatest. I lowered the needle like you said and It WORKED. The little machine sews a great straight stitch. Thank you very much.

I put the thread through the tension then up to the take-up and back down to the hook next to the tension knob. Or are you supposed to go through the tension then the hook and up to the take-up?
