IMHP they look like they are almost the same shade of pink, so I would go for the 1st one with more texture. A Double Irish Chain is on my to do list, so I am very jealous that you are making one....

This quilt was made from my scraps. Just needed to buy the border and backing. And was SO easy to put together (LOVE big blocks!).
