i really don't know if they changed the format on the newer machines or if it just the newer machines that can READ .pen, which is the format the ibroidery designs come in. when i found i couldn't...

That does not seem fair. i contacted them-I thought I might be able to get them to sell me the designs in PES instead of the newer PEN format. The ULT cannot be upgraded to accept the new format...
