I sashed a 10 inch square then sewed 2 different blocks together diagonally, then cut apart. Missouri Star Quilt has a tutorial called the Magic Square. Check it out. I found it very easy to follow.

Update on Brown and Teal Quilt....

Remember this quilt? I changed the border to a solid brown and it seemed to have made a difference. The back is pieced with the left over fabric, and I made two pillow cases in brown, with a teal...
