i only managed to do approx 18 blks, as i had started without washing my 'batiks' which i using...
i've now got them all washed and ironed and hope to carry on in the new year......

i recommend using 'fray check' after you have finished your applique sewing on the areas you feel are vulnerable to fraying. it works a treat!!

when i asked this question a while ago, i was...

when i asked this question a while ago, i was informed that when completing 4.5" blocks we would use sashing's of 1/2inch wide FINISHED, (1 inch cutting width.) hope this helps!
