how about marking the pattern, if it says 'fabric A', 'fabric B', 'fabric C' and you are using 3 different colours or...

i've used their patterns lots of times, and not had problems...

i actually fold mine down to a third of it's...

i actually fold mine down to a third of it's size, pop it into a small zip lock bag squeezing out all of the air, and put it into a regular letter envelope... that way it can go very cheaply postage...
