I don't really know an answer to that. I just modified what I had to fit what I needed. Every frame/machine combination would present a different picture. Sorry.

I didn't extend the bar distance more because that is all the carriage that holds the machine will move. Making the bars further apart wouldn't have given me any more room. Perhaps another frame...

They're available at hardware stores like Rona, Lowes', Home Depot. Usually in the area where they sell hinges.

Janome Horizon on a quilting frame - for those who asked for pics

I have it on an Original Inspira frame that I altered to 1. spread the handles about an inch to accept the width of the Horizon and 2. extended the space between the rollers by adding 3" "repair...
