MQC's 1/2 hexagon template has the dog ears cut...

MQC's 1/2 hexagon template has the dog ears cut off...but I am using a full 9 inch hexagon, cuting it in half so that is why I get the dog ears. I am getting use to lining them up. pratice, pratice.

Started a new quilt..

I have been working on this hexagon quilt today, my seam ripper is getting a lot of use. I am not use to dog ears...there has to be a trick in getting the seams lined up...I do get them done,...
