Wool dryer balls. Does anyone use them? What about making them yourself?

I have them, don't think they make the clothes...
I have them, don't think they make the clothes dry any faster. I never used dryer sheets with towels or sheets. I bought mine from Amazon, I usually throw 2 or 3 in depending on how big the load is.
