we used the ink wells in 1945..I was in the 5th grade and they were quite messy for a left hand person..if you want to see the picture and description of the desk/sewing machine look at what someone...

I have the same machine..and the same cabinet..it...

I have the same machine..and the same cabinet..it is an ink holder..and the pencils and pen lay on the side..it was made to serve as desk when not open...My mom bought this machine new sometime...
