When you need another 1/2 yard, Joanne's has the fabric, you buy it, take it home and apparently the dye lot is different, it does not match the color of the first piece of fabric.

when you need an additional 1/2 yard of fabric to finish your quilt, the store has a different dye lot and it's noticeably different.
