That is very true. If the pattern is too dense for the fabric - it will curl. A friend of mine was putting logo's on shirts for her DH's business, she had to use a double layer of a heavy cutaway...

This is very interesting - would like to find it locally instead of on Amazon to try it. When I embroidery on T-shirts I use an adhesive stabilizer so there is NO pull. But I can see where it would...
