The teflon on the bolt is more like the silver...

The teflon on the bolt is more like the silver ironing board cover and is heat resistant. I use it for potholders. It isn't the same as the teflon sliders for FMQ.

IMHO, it's worth the price. because they last a long time. If you are doing FM quilting, get the one with the small hole, so the feed dogs are covered, instead of the one that has the rectangle cut...
