A saddle seat fits female anatomy better. You end up with much less lower back pain. If you can find one in a store near you, take a magazine and sit on one for half an hour, see how you like it.

I have a friend with a saddle stool and she loves...

I have a friend with a saddle stool and she loves it so much, she takes it with her to retreats. She does not need to get up to move when she quilts; the stool has wheels and it rolls on both carpet...
