If she wants a snuggle quilt (this is definetly not one) you could always get the pattern and use the snowflakes and applique them down! Then you just need a light meander of quilting to hold it all...

The pattern is available on daystyledesigns.com (not affiliated). It is a great tutorial on reverse shadow trapunto and quilt as you go, along with the snowflake outlines. I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the compliment :) You wouldn't want to curl up under it though- it is extremely stiff due to all the quilting. It hangs nicely one the wall though!

This quilt is 50 x 50 inches. Each square is microquilted with a different design. I had posted a few of the squares in progress and thought I'd show the finished quilt. Pattern is from Leah Day.
