The serial number is on the area surrounding the stitch length slide, which is on the far right of the bed. I can make out a few numbers when I look at your last picture.

These take a non-standard needle that is shorter than the normal ones and of course it's obsolete.
Its from 1949 not the 1800s.

Only the 201-2 with the potted motor had the...
Only the 201-2 with the potted motor had the light on the front. The other 201 models had a light on the rear.
To recognize the 201remember that it has a stitch length lever and back plate the same...
