Thanks, QM. I figure I can now add a border of the black with purple flowers. :) It's very unfortunate that the lower left corner didn't match up better. :(

Thanks, Judy. I think I may finish mine as a lap quilt--our sewing group at church is making 'comfort blankets' for children, so the folks going to Joplin on a mission trip can give them to children.

Here is my offering. I'm not going to lie--I am having trouble with the 1/4" seam....it SEEMS to be 1/4" but my five strips sewn together ended up measuring 10 3/16", not 10 1/2". I just don't get...
