That is the biggest problem with computerized machines. They work great but are financially prohibitive to repair when the electronics die. A very good reason to avoid them.

Much better than the built in systems on more um .... modern machines.

I checked the Singer site and they list the PA prefixes as starting in 1954. They don't give any more info though.
ISMACS doesn't even list the PA prefixes.

That is a very interesting machine....
