I leave my oil radiator on all the time during the winter. It takes less energy to keep the space warm than it does to warm it up from cold every day. I suppose if you're only in your sewing room...

I have one of those oil radiators in my sewing room during the winter. I keep it on the low setting and set the thermostat in about the middle and it keeps this room nice and warm.
