    No, not hard, but very very messy! It was all 100% cotton so there wasn't a problem with pressing and inadvertently melting it, which might happen with acetate velvet. But oh BOY did it shed little...

    I made this quilt for my daughter who loves teal. The main top fabric is a hand-painted upholstery/drapery silk remnant, which I couldn't resist when I saw it at a local decorating store many years...
