i cannot for the life of me get the elevator throat plate to pop up.

and now the left hand screw on the plate that holds the level is mounting stalwart resistance to removal.

this is the fun...

i'm not sure how to make it do all the fancy stitches or if it needs to be serviced or what.

i'm going to get the singer 401 today :)

we agreed on $80 because it has no accessories.

it's not the perfect answer, but i am really looking forward to playing with all those decorative...
