Well, I probably am going to be a dissenting voice and say I like the strong yellow. Since you don't have many pastels in the quilt, I think it goes together very well. Then again, this is coming...

Substituting the burgundy for the red really made all the difference. As others have said, Bonnie's quilts never look good when viewed a block at a time and up close. Try putting four blocks up on...

I like the second colourway very much except for the strong orange squares. They just seem to shout at me. Maybe use something a bit softer? Although in re-reading your earlier post I realize the...

I do my own quilting and don't worry about how the seams end up. And if they don't play nice I just allow them to twist halfway or so between the seams. No one sees the back of the quilt, so I...

Playswithcolour -- Wow! Even after doing this quilt, I can't figure out how you managed that arrangement. I love the magenta and green stars surrounded by the circles of purple/ lavender.

I'm done. It measures 56 x 72". That is my preferred size for charity quilts. The six blocks don't have the impact of 12 or 16, but I'm basically happy with it.

Carol - your quilt is fabulous. I like the fact you used a constant yellow and that you subbed the Tri-Recs to make the circles. If you want it larger, I'd be tempted to do a narrow border of...

I use the Tri-Recs ruler. Cut the strips to 3-1/2", cut out the triangles and side pieces and sew them together. After making probably 300 or more in three quilts, I still can't get them to come...

Wow, Jaba -- great going. I'm slowly getting mine done -- four blocks finished and sewn together with sashing, and only two to go. I must say the full sized quilt is fabulous.

Sheep farmer -- I'm doing a 2 x 3 layout and think it will be 54 x 72". That includes an additional 1-1/2" inner border. I usually make throw quilts so that is the perfect size for me.
