    Butterfly Baby Quilt

    This is a baby quilt I made. I machine quilted a butterfly in each yellow block with my sewing machine. I traced the butterfly design on tracing paper that quilted over the paper....

    Fall Quilt

    I did the satin stitch around the leaves and the stem by hand. The rest of the quilt was pieced on a machine.

    I used this exact same block to make a 3-D tie wallhanging. I used three inch blocks. and the bow ties are actual ties that I cut up. It's one way to use this block.

    I found the Maxine blocks panel at Country Threads quilt shop in Garner, IA. I also found the backing fabric at Quiltin COuntry quilt in Killeen, Texas. Both shops have website you can visit.
