    well I am wondering if you just got scared of the drunkards path blocks because of the curves? Have you tried the Mini Quick Curve ruler? That ruler makes drunkards path blocks and they go together...

    I use Essex linen all of the time. I absolutely love it. It does fray a bit more than cotton while piecing. But It quilts up so nicely and washes up great. It's very soft and comfy.
