For Baby

My first grandchild will arrive in November. Parents do not want a lot of extra stuff. What are the homemade essentials? A Tummy Time quilt for sure!

I have found the shops out here in Oakland/Berkeley to be very friendly. You might pop in to New Pieces or Bay Quilts.

A dear friend passed away There are many squares of batting left behind. My friend was devoted to charity quilting.

Christmas in July

Any new ideas? Place mats, aprons, pillows, totes? My gang always appreciates new potholders, etc. but I'd love to do other projects. The "Ornament of the Year", I have no idea!! Let's brainstorm!

Good news! I washed my RWB top with 2 color...

Good news! I washed my RWB top with 2 color catchers. It is perfect. All whites, nice & bright. Bleeding removed.
I'm a happy quilter!!

There is a group here in NYC making quilts for 9/11 families. If the top washes out ok, it will go there.
I had to order color catchers. None here locally but I'm an Amazon Prime fan....
