Glad to hear it takes awhile, Jenny makes it look so easy. After a week of trying I have about 20 blocks all done. Just cut sashing and cornerstones to made a 4x5 block square to see how it looks....

Love your quilt, did it take very long to make. I am struggling. Instead of 1.25 x 3.5 strips I cut mine 1.5x 3.5 just easier for me, I'm not using a jelly roll, just scraps.

I just put my partial quilting machine bobbins on the thread spool of my sewing machine and use them as I would use a spool of thread.

Wow, thats beautiful. Thank you for the picture, I'm so visual. Also to add length I use 2.5 inch inner side borders and 3.5 inch inner top and bottom borders. Every little bit helps.

I know I said loopes but the correct term is eyelashes. A few were at least a 1/4 inch. So wash before to unset.

Yeah

Just finished washing my quilt. All the thread is good, such a nice surprise as a couple spots the blue thread was at least a 1/4 inch loop.

I will wash it later and hope for the best, really not into ripping out. I didn't do anything to fix it while sewing but the next row was fine, must have gremlins in my machine.

Took a very large tote of batting from my friends estate. The top part was queen sized batts. In the bottom was dozens of place mat sized batts and a f ew pre printed baby quilt backing for panels....
