You must remember that with such a limited throat space, by the time you roll the quilt on the take up bar you will only be quilting in less than a 6 inch space. I have Janome 1600 on a grace frame...

I prefer to find something in the same color lines, but not necessary to be the same print. I do like my backing to make a "quiet' statement.
