Ironing board cover

I took my old one off and used it as a pattern. I used material with Lines on it so I could make sure I kept everything straight. Works great.

sounds to me like you have accidently hit something to put it into winding the bobbin mode, You will hear the motor run, but the needle will not move. Just a thought.

I remember in 1954 we used a machine to slide the fabric through, the dial would reach the 2 yards we wanted, and you pushed a button and it would cut a slit in the fabric, take it out of the machine...

Fold, not beat again. salt and pepper , pepper flakes for me.

FYI, I don't have a cordless iron, but I do hang my cord UP off of the ironing board. There is no pulling or dragging the cord on any fabric or board. It helps.

I take a two or three yard piece of fabric, Fold it and pin the Edges with a couple of safety pins, so the fraying will be in one place and not tangled up. Wash in Hot water, rinse in cold water....

More than likely it will fray and pull away. I made a butterfly one with the raw edge, after seeing how it was falling apart I sewed around all of the raw edges again. I will never do raw edges...
