I use Nexcare tape on the underside of rulers to keep them from slipping....but mine is not paper tape. It is like scotch tape but it has a bumpy side which is what grips the fabric.

Looks more modern the way it is. Love it. I personally think sampler quilts with individual blocks & sashing are pretty boring. This is much more interesting and has movement.

I used headliner for the tote in Block magazine....

I used headliner for the tote in Block magazine. Worked great. I also cut a little piece, sewed it btween 2 fabric scraps and threw it in the washer & drier. Came out fine.
