No the pattern was for a completely different...

No the pattern was for a completely different fabric line. I had the fun flowers fabric in my stash and when I saw the pattern I knew it would work well.

Flowers Drop Pattern made with Fun flowers

I used the free flower drop pattern and modified it a bit to make it to be full size. I used Lakehouse fun flowers fabric.

No pattern. I just used a block within a block and set it on point. Then made the decision about colors based on what was in my stash. The whole deal was just me flying by the seat of my pants. :-)

Yes I did applique the dresdan using clear thread and a very tiny zig zag stitch. It looks hand appliqued that way. Thanks for the compliment! :-)
