My daughter has one of those low water machines....

My daughter has one of those low water machines. It is a pain. So I told her to fill a small tub of water and pour it in her machine. It works much better now. Ridiculous she has to do this.

Your seams should not be 1/8 inch. A scant 1/4 is a thread or two less. If the pattern wanted 1/8 inch, they would have said that.
find the scant measurement and put painters tape on your machine....
