Nice touch on the bag. Never would have thought to do that. Faster than sewing the triangle on the inside I would imagine. Will have to try that on my charity bags we do for our quilt guild.

Thanks for all the input. Now I know what to tell the school. The colors on the blocks are set. We ironed them until no more color was on the paper towels so they should be able to wash them gently...

I like to make mine 40x50. Makes a good size quilt that kids don't outgrow quickly. Ask me how I know. Made my grandson's too small and had to enlarge it when he turned 4. He's 8 and still uses it!
