over them when quilting. So far so good....

They fall where they fall. I trim using bloc loc for FG and HST's.
If it's slightly off I don't redo. I redo only if I'm way off....

Anything that says "cooking wine" is nasty stuff. I started using Sherry
when I couldn't find Shaoxing wine without salt. In order to be able to
sell it at the Chinese grocery here...

I can understand why you don't want the binding to pucker specially for
a wall-hanging. I would suggest you put the binding after washing.
Use a zig-zag stitch around the edges so it doesn't fray...

I can trim a ton of HST's if I divide the task in smaller batches.
I also find it easier on me if I cut/sew/press/trim in small batches
rather than doing all the cutting, then all the sewing, etc....

There are lots of patterns for table runners that can be made as bed
runners. Either make more blocks for add more borders. I guess
you have to determine the size that you want and go from there....
