I am clearing out my Mom's house and came across this in the basement. A Singer Sew Handy Electric. It's so tiny! And it works perfectly. It's from the '60's, near as we can tell. Just so cute....

I usually use Organ 80/12 for piecing but I've used everything from 60/7 up to a vinyl needle on it (The threader does not like vinyl needles.) and my 6500 has been fine.

I bought a Grace QZone Queen long arm frame last year, misunderstanding that you had to set it up either for crib size or full length...somehow I got it in my head you could switch it back and forth....

Did the pouch have a lining? If so, leave yourself lots of opening...
