Trying slowing down, and my machine behaves better if the feed dogs are UP with the stitch length set to 0. Keep trying, you will get there :)

I use 505 basting spray with the Quilters Dream...
I use 505 basting spray with the Quilters Dream Poly batting and it works great. You can use pretty much any method of basting when FMQ on a domestic machine, experiment and find the one that works...
