I have several that I use regularly <G>
1. Think of an "oops" not as a mistake but a Design Opportunity.

2. Don't store starched fabric. (Starch is from corn, attracts bugs which will eat the starch and fabric.)

3. There is almost always more than one right way to do something. If someone says there is only one way (theirs) find out the reason why. If no reason, wonder.

4. It is YOUR quilt. The decisions are yours, and you are the one who has to live with it. (at least while working on it.)

5. If you aren't having fun why are you doing it? (Sometimes the learning part isn't as much fun, but you know that whatever "it" is will be fun on down the road. That is okay.)

6. Perfect is boring.

And, remember the galloping horse test.......
