I have had more luck with the cheaper irons than the expensive ones over the years. My main trouble has been with rust even though I drain all the water out after using steam. I have now solved the problem totally by not using any steam at all and in place I use a small misty spray bottle which I can regulate the amount of spray from. I have done this for years and I am very happy with the results!
